Power Smith Multi Angles: professional 4-in-1 multifunction bench
The Power Smith Machine Multi Angles is a multi-function machine that allows effective training of the main thrust muscles of the upper limb. The multiple inclinations of the bench allow you to reproduce different movements along different thrust planes, among which the main ones are: -20° bench (Declined Bench), 0° bench (Flat Bench), 45° bench (Inclined Bench), 80° bench (Shoulder Bench). The different planes of movement, combined with the converging trajectory of the two handles, guarantee complete stimulation of all the bundles of the pectoralis major, anterior and lateral deltoid and triceps. The converging trajectory structure is designed to follow the physiological arc of horizontal adduction and flexion of the shoulder, respecting the scapulohumeral kinematics and reducing the shear forces on the glenohumeral joint. The linear sliding system with constant load on low-friction wheels guarantees mechanical fluidity and continuity of tension. The integrated counterbalance minimizes the curb weight of the operating levers, allowing precise load management from low intensities. The gas-assisted height and depth adjustments of the seat allow accurate anthropometric adaptation. The independent levers make it possible to perform unilaterally or bilaterally, favoring the correction of any muscle asymmetries and improving neuromuscular control.
Features
- Multiple training station: from the declined bench to the shoulder bench.
- Gas-assisted backrest adjustment.
- Rail with horizontal adjustment on 28 positions.
- Counterweights to reduce the curb weight of the thrust units.
- Width-adjustable push handles.
- Adjustable safety limit switches.
- 6 weight carriers as standard.
Work planes
- Backrest angle -20°: Declined Bench – The declined press emphasizes the activation of the lower portion of the pectoralis major, particularly the sternal fibers, with the triceps brachii supporting elbow extension. Compared to other variations, the involvement of the anterior deltoid is reduced.
- Backrest angle 0°: Flat Bench – This configuration aims at a balanced stimulus on the entire sternocostal portion of the pectoralis major, with an important contribution of the anterior deltoid and the triceps brachii.
- Backrest angle 45°: Inclined Bench – The greater involvement of the clavicular bundles (upper-chest) of the pectoralis major contributes to improving the filling of the upper part of the chest. The anterior deltoid takes on a more pronounced role, while the triceps supports the final phase of extension.
- Backrest angle 80°: Shoulder Bench – With the vertical thrust above the head, the focus shifts predominantly to the deltoid, particularly the anterior bundle. The triceps brachii intervenes in the extension phase of the elbow, while the pectoralis major reduces its involvement to the clavicular fibers.
