Viking Press: Machine for Deltoids and Upper Pecs
The Viking Press is a machine designed for training the deltoids and clavicular bundles of the pectoralis major. Thanks to a guided and physiological thrust trajectory from a biomechanical point of view, it allows you to maintain a high quality of movement throughout the concentric and eccentric phase, improving scapular stability and joint control, ensuring excellent muscle recruitment even with high loads. The result is a powerful, precise and repeatable thrust, perfect for building mass, strength and density in the shoulder–upper chest district.
Features
- Physiological load curve that supports the natural ability of the muscle to express force.
- Independent levers for a unilateral or bilateral execution, to safeguard and work on any asymmetries between the two limbs.
- Adjustable gas-assisted starting position, ensuring the right setting in the initial phase of the exercise.
- Different grips that allow you to shift the focus to the different muscle groups of the target areas:
- With a prone grip, the elbows are more open and the work is also concentrated to a greater extent on the lateral deltoid than with the other variants.
- With a semi-prone grip, the elbows are in an intermediate position, the load is also distributed on the upper trapezius and triceps, with a slight increase in the involvement of the upper chest.
- With neutral grip, the elbows are closer to the body, decreasing the contribution of the lateral deltoid and the stress on the shoulder joint.
Optional: 6 additional weight holders.
