Total Press: 4-in-1 multifunction machine for chest, shoulders and triceps
The Total Press is a professional multi-function machine designed for a complete training of the main pushing muscles of the upper body. Thanks to the two independent pushing units with multiple inclinations (Patent Pending), it allows you to reproduce the main pushing patterns along four articular planes: 45° (Declined Chest Press), 90° (Vertical Chest Press), 135° (Inclined Chest Press) and 180° (Deltoid Press). Total Press therefore combines four machines in one. The combination of different movement planes with the converging trajectory of the handles ensures optimal stimulation of the pectoralis major, anterior and lateral deltoid and triceps, guaranteeing balanced development of the upper body pushing muscles. The guided trajectory and the linear sliding system with constant load on low-friction wheels ensure smooth movement, while the counterbalance eliminates the empty weight of the levers, improving the management of initial loads and allowing effective contraction from the very first repetition. The independent levers allow mono or bilateral movements, reducing joint stress and optimising muscle stimulation. The gas-assisted height and depth adjustments of the seat ensure accurate anthropometric adaptation and correct alignment between shoulder, elbow and wrist across the different working planes.
Features
- Multiple training station with gas-assisted adjustable configuration on four positions to modulate the pushing planes.
- Height-adjustable seat with gas-assisted system to accommodate different body heights.
- Depth-adjustable seat with gas-assisted system for correct trunk positioning.
- Independent levers for mono or bilateral execution and management of muscular asymmetries.
- Linear sliding system with constant load on low-friction wheels for smooth movement.
- Counterbalance to eliminate the empty weight of the exercise levers.
Working planes
- Working plane 45°: Declined Chest Press – Reproduces a declined pushing movement that emphasises the lower and sternocostal fibres of the pectoralis major. The triceps brachii intervenes during the elbow extension phase, while the anterior deltoid acts as a synergistic muscle. Ideal for developing thickness and density in the lower portion of the chest.
- Working plane 90°: Vertical Chest Press – Reproduces a horizontal pushing movement with a balanced stimulus across the entire sternocostal portion of the pectoralis major, with a significant contribution from the anterior deltoid and triceps brachii. A central and complete configuration for the overall development of the chest.
- Working plane 135°: Inclined Chest Press – The upward-inclined trajectory allows greater involvement of the clavicular fibres (upper chest) of the pectoralis major, helping to improve the fullness of the upper chest. The anterior deltoid takes on a more prominent role, while the triceps continues to support the final extension phase.
- Working plane 180°: Deltoid Press – Reproduces a vertical overhead press shifting the focus primarily onto the deltoid, in particular the anterior head. The triceps brachii intervenes during the elbow extension phase, while the pectoralis major reduces its involvement to the clavicular fibres only. Ideal for developing shoulder strength and mass.
